2020/2021 update

Not much has happened since last login on this site... Except finally getting myself a dog, 5 years after Santtu passed away and moved to a bigger apartment....


Unfortunately in August 2020 we noticed that someone had broken in our storage in this apartment building and stole a lot of stuff. We had stored there some of the stuff during moving to this new place and really didn't see it as so urgent to move them indoors.... One of those things was a luggage that had ALL OF MY COSPLAYS in it, except some minor props. So my hiatus from cosplay is gonna continue a bit longer, if I ever will even find the spark to do that again, since I have to start from the scratch with this hobby... Gonna take a miracle tbh.


Thanks for nothing you piece of shit junkie-ex neighbor. Also fun fact: Officials quit investigating on it during last week, for the lack of evidence.... Mmmhhm. Sure, witness reports on the junkie, we managed to retrieve one box from him that he tried to dispose (so it has his fingerprints) and what else...

New computer, slowly getting things up and running

So... I got my new PC, been running multiple installations and stuff lately... Perhaps I'll return soon into painting or doodling, since I kinda want to paint Joseph, John and Jacob from Far Cry 5...

What comes to cosplay-side, I'll be on a hiatus until next September. I just don't have the mood, drive or financial advances to take part in any event before that. So Tracon 2018 it is, with two new costumes. One will be created from scratch, while the other one is basically modifying my pre-owned clothes.

Perhaps I'll be The Father on first day (Saturday) and Volgin on Sunday, but we'll see about it later. TBH, it's a lot more pleasant thought to travel from Kouvola to Tampere in a rather comfortable costume, than have latex-based sfx splattered all over my face.

Also booked myself another tattoo appointment. Gonna cost me a lot, but it's gonna be worth it. Time to start the chest tattoo in September, pretty much after Tracon.... Dunno yet how many hours or days the whole project is going to take, but hey - the longer it takes, the more pleasant it gets. Doesn't hurt me, so it works for me like getting a massage or something like it.

Hiatus

So.... 2018 been a blast so far, nope. First my laptop dies in January and even to this day, I don't have a new computer... Then the WWE cosplay project was kinda lame, or I don't know - I just didn't get the same kicks as for example with Tillsau- or Hancock-project. Last but not least, one event got cancelled one year after they had a contest. It was basicly a writing contest, winners would be put down in the books and so on... So before the book was published, they cancelled it. Great... From over 160 participants 8 got picked, me included, and this happens.

Next convention for me will be Tracon. I have no mood, time or money to take part in earlier ones, and not sure if I'll post any photos of my Chris Jericho-cosplay. Even if the clothes were 95% spot on, the face isn't. What comes to painting/writing... Don't expect anything to happen anytime too soon. After the failure what that contest was, I'm really close on deleting all the lyrics/poems/etc I've ever written.

Haha, ya can say that the start of 2018 has been good for my mental health :lmao:

While waiting for Desucon Frostbite, I decided to upload some older photos of cosplays that somehow never found their way in DA.... Mostly because I hate posting anything just freely, without getting to locate them in a sub-folder, but oh well... I guess this goes for now, I'll upload more once I feel like going into core-mode again and organizing my gallery.

So for the start of 2018; some Vaas and Hancock for you guys~
